Superglass Superwall 36 Cavity Wall Batt

Description

Superglass Superwall 36 is a BBA-approved, non-combustible glass mineral wool insulation batt designed for use in masonry cavity walls. Manufactured with a water-repellent additive, it resists moisture ingress and maintains high thermal performance. Each batt is 455mm wide, allowing for easy friction fitting between standard wall tie spacings, reducing the need for on-site cutting and waste.

Application

This product is suitable for use as thermal insulation in both full-fill and partial-fill applications in new external masonry cavity walls. It is approved for buildings up to:

• 25 metres in height for full-fill installations
• No height restriction for partial-fill installations

Additional installation requirements apply for full-fill use above 12 metres and partial-fill use above 25 metres?refer to the BBA certificate for full guidance.

Superwall 36 is approved for use in all UK exposure zones (subject to conditions detailed in the BBA Certificate).

Performance

• Thermal Conductivity: Declared lambda value of 0.036 W/m?K.
• Fire Classification: Rated Euroclass A1 (non-combustible) in accordance with BS EN 13501-1:2018.
