Bitumen Paint

A general-purpose, solvent-borne, bituminous black paint for protecting a wide range of building materials against water and weather damage. When dry, it forms an odourless and taint-free bitumen film.

Uses:

Recommended for use when frost or rain precludes the use of emulsions. Ideal for waterproofing and weatherproofing both ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including steel, iron, lead, zinc, aluminium, as well as concrete, roofing felt, fibre/cement, corrugated iron, asphalt, brick, and wood.

It reduces corrosion and decay, and is suitable for protecting exterior metalwork such as fire escapes, ladders, and gutters. Can be overcoated with a suitable decorative solar reflective paint to extend the life of the coating.
